A New Year, A New Direction

Engaging Community Voices

This summer, Meyer hosted listening sessions with more than 100 participants from the Latine/x/a/o, Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities, as well as representatives from the gender justice movement. Each group’s conversations took different forms, following the lead of the community and working to best fit their needs. As we prepare to debut our new framework for grantmaking in 2023, we're grateful to be in conversation and are thinking deeply about how to best honor and incorporate community voice into our work.
