Hear me say my name

Coming from a teaching background, the idea of always being a learner resonates with Saylor. She values curiosity and believes it’s important to not get stuck in the mindset that “this is the way it’s always been done;” staying open to reflect and change with growth.

To deepen her knowledge of the people and world around her, Saylor finds inspiration in connecting with people throughout the community and reflecting on how people come together to achieve a shared goal.

As the event coordinator, she partners with grantees to create community-wide events in the Center for Great Purposes at Meyer Headquarters. Fostering Meyer’s commitment to the Albina neighborhood and beyond, she hopes this space will be an accessible community resource where people can build relationships and feel empowered to make the changes they wish to see throughout Oregon.

Saylor graduated with honors from Portland State University with a degree in applied linguistics. Fluent in English and French, she began her career in early childhood education before joining Meyer.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, spending time outside and making arts and crafts. Travel is her first love — her favorite place is Morocco.

Saylor joined Meyer in September 2023.
