Phoebe O'Leary

Phoebe manages Meyer’s overall operations and governance, including overseeing the building operations, IT and HR teams that keep the foundation running smoothly behind the scenes while centering the organization’s philanthropic programs.

She values curiosity because the world is not stagnant and you must continue to learn and adapt in order to help it flourish. She also recognizes that personal knowledge is always limited, so you must keep yourself open to the wisdom shared by those who have walked both different and similar paths.

Prior to joining Meyer, Phoebe spent over 10 years in fundraising and development for medical care and arts organizations, as well as handling operations for a small family foundation. She has served on the board of Grantmakers of Oregon and SW Washington, was a member of the Oregon City Metro Enhancement Committee and volunteered with the Pacific Northwest Chapter of Peak Grantmaking. She is also a Mental Health First Aider.

When she’s not at work, Phoebe enjoys hiking and mediocrely playing the banjo and ukulele for her cats.

Phoebe joined Meyer in September, 2001.
