Empathy is not simply a matter of trying to imagine what others are going through, but having the will to muster enough courage to do something about it. In a way, empathy is predicated upon hope.
Nina is driven, both inside and outside her job, by a passion for learning and understanding.
Born and bred in Oregon, Nina has spent almost all her life in the Portland area. A background in financial services led her briefly to the Midwest, but she is excited to be back in Oregon, using the experience she gained working in private equity to contribute to Meyer’s mission.

Nina started her accounting career in tax at Ernst & Young before spending several years in private equity as a fund accountant. She has volunteered with the Tax Assistance Program, providing tax services for low-income individuals and families. When she is off the clock, Nina loves to watch college sports and travel around the United States to experience the variety each state has to offer.
Nina joined the Meyer team in 2015.
