Every minute of every hour of every day you are making the world, just as you are making yourself, and you might as well do it with generosity and kindness and style.
Rebecca Solnit

Molly is driven by an innate sense that everyone has something to contribute and everyone benefits when we each use our skills for the betterment of the whole community.

A graduate of the University of Portland, Molly was introduced to the concept of environmental justice while studying environmental ethics and policy. After continuing her education in New York, she framed her career within justice-focused sustainability. Moving back to Oregon — and into philanthropy — offers Molly the chance of broadening the scope of her work and impact.

“My equity journey started with a nerdy interest in mitigating pollution and preserving natural spaces. The more I learn about the disparate human impacts of environmental harms and the ways they overlap with social equity concerns, the more inspired I am to work at a systemic level. I’m thrilled to be back in Oregon, working to support Meyer’s mission.”

Before joining Meyer, Molly worked in higher education as Assistant Director for Sustainability Initiatives at The New School and as an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow at Dartmouth College. Molly has also interned with the Lower East Side Ecology Center's EcoBizNYC program and with the Environmental Justice team at the Natural Resources Defense Council in Santa Monica, Calif.

Molly joined Meyer in 2018.
