Brenda’s journey began in rural Nebraska, where she grew up in a small farming community and learned how to work hard by helping her dad on the farm. From an early age, she knew that she wanted to experience life that was different, so she traveled around the world and eventually landed in Portland. A love of numbers and endless possibilities led her to accounting. Meyer offered the opportunity to align her aspirations and her expertise.

Brenda started her career as a translator for an organic certification agency, moved on to migrant education and then to Portland State University, where her accounting journey began. Since becoming an accountant, she has worked for a variety of companies, public and private, with experience in audit, tax, internal controls and international accounting.
Brenda came to Meyer in 2014. She is a member of Meyer's executive team.
