2020 Community Rebuilding Fund

The Ford Family Foundation, Meyer Memorial Trust and Oregon Community Foundation have established the 2020 Community Rebuilding Fund as a place to bring private and philanthropic donations together to work collectively for Oregonians whose communities have been leveled by wildfires this season. The goal: to gather resources and begin planning for what comes next after the extraordinary devastation brought by wildfires across a state already reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic and consequences of racial injustice.

A statewide relief effort

Nonprofits and organizations across the state are responding with relief efforts to address of the emerging needs of Oregonians as a result of the statewide wildfires. The Oregon Community Foundation has a compiled a list of those organizations.

Rogue Valley Relief Fund

MRG Foundation's Rogue Valley Relief Fund will go directly to help people most impacted by these fires in the Rogue Valley. In the short term, this fund will be used to directly meet the needs of those who have been displaced by fires—it will buy tents, meals, gas and other supplies folks need immediately.

Immediate Impact Fund

Women’s Foundation of Oregon has re-opened its Immediate Impact Fund for applications in response to both COVID-19 and the ongoing statewide wildfires. Gender justice organizations or programs seeking funding should apply online now.

Support local relief efforts

Organizations such as United Way, American Red Cross and others are already marshalling local emergency work to uplift Oregonians suffering through the devastation of the wildfires. We encourage those who can help by offering time and support to their local relief agencies to do so.
