Kaz Savage

Kaz believes in staying curious. They value open-mindedness, learning, growing and uplifting all parts of the community.

Born and raised in Portland, they aspired to be part of an organization with a mission that benefited the state they call home.

As the operations coordinator at Meyer, Kaz handles the day-to-day flow of internal affairs, ensuring that everyone has what they need to do their job successfully. One of their favorite aspects of their role is coordinating employee giving, knowing that the minimum 3:1 match helps nonprofits throughout Oregon.

Before Meyer, they worked in customer service as a Starbucks barista and hotel receptionist where they gained experience in team building, time management and nurturing client relationships.

Beyond the nine-to-five, Kaz is most proud of their time as a Girl Scout where they ascended to Ambassador level, earning bronze and silver awards for their community engagement.

When they’re not volunteering at a local theater, you can find them creating new tabletop adventures to explore fantasy worlds with friends. They also enjoy drawing and creating art.
