Professor powell will speak about his theory of Targeted Universalism and its importance to creating an inclusive school climate where students can thrive.
powell’s groundbreaking social science research encompasses issues related to mind science, academic achievement and performance and the impact of belonging on health. Through the framework of Targeted Universalism, professor powell will outline ways to create structural inclusion, unified movement building and transformative change in Oregon schools.
